Annual Spring Showcase Information

What is Catapult’s Spring Showcase?

Our Spring Showcase is an exclusive event where eligible Catapult students perform in front of a panel of top talent agents seeking new talent.

For many young actors, the Showcase serves as a first opportunity to gain professional industry exposure and gain incredible experience to showcase their talents.

Who is eligible?

Students ages 7-18 who complete either:

BOTH Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 16-week semesters
OR A school-year long (32 weeks) Conservatory program
AND have met attendance and professionalism standards throughout the full year of training! No more than 3 absences are allowed for the Fall semester, and no more than 2 absences in the Spring semester. This is inclusive of illness, religious holidays, vacations or any other reason a student needs to miss class.
If a student has to miss more classes and still wishes to maintain Showcase eligibility, they must procure a one-hour private coaching session with their instructor for each additional class missed within a week of the missed class.

Why having representation matters

Securing a talent agent and/or manager is typically a goal of any actor looking to pursue acting professionally.

Talent agents and managers help actors:

Find professional auditions for TV, film, commercial, and voiceover opportunities
Start to build their team for long-term careers

Even if your child does not secure rep after Spring Showcase, you and your actor will be prepared for Open Calls and self-submitting to projects.

Your first step: Register for class

The journey begins with weekly training. Enroll in a Fall 2026 class or apply for Conservatory to start working toward Showcase eligibility and developing the skills needed to succeed in TV+Film industry. Our Fall classes have limited enrollment and frequently sell out. Early registration is strongly recommended.

We regularly create opportunities for actors to connect with respected casting directors, agents, managers, and other industry professionals, but invitations and outcomes are always at the discretion of those professionals. Regardless of the result, participating in experiences like our Spring Showcase is a valuable milestone that builds confidence, professionalism, and real-world industry experience.
