Liza Jaine is an Atlanta-based actor, singer, and writer. As a teenager, she trained at the Broadway Theatre Project under the tutelage of Ann Reinking, Gregory Hines, Jules Stein, Gwen Verdon, and Jasmine Guy, among many other Broadway greats.
Her professional theatre career has spanned over 30 years including a dozen award winning productions, 3 national tours, and two world premieres. After moving to Atlanta, she started her on screen career, garnering roles on HBO, ABC, BET, OWN, and many other networks, as well as lots (and lots) of commercials, industrials, short films, and indies.
As a teacher and coach, Liza specializes in complicated self-tapes with a strong focus on script analysis, finding realistic ways to incorporate the action dictated, and grounding yourself in a 360 world even when limited to head-and-shoulders framing. Her clients include series regulars, film leads, and Broadway actors.
She graduated cum laude from Columbia University and summa cum laude from Johns Hopkins University. She holds a brown belt in Muay Thai, trained with SWAT instructors to master on screen police procedures, has a love of wire work, and one day wants to learn to be a stunt driver, though parallel parking continues to vex her.
Liza is mother to an incredible child named Wyatt who challenges her every day to do the best she can. She also has three fur babies, all of whom snore loudly and try to sleep on her head.
