The Commercial Workshop was designed to allow the actor to work with a top commercial Casting Director (Jen Kelley | Big Picture Casting) and working commercial actor (Josh Covitt) in an intimate setting. Workshop participants will learn the ins-and-outs of commercial auditioning and acting, and how the wild world of commercials specifically differs from TV/Film.
Creating Character is an application-only, on-your-feet, curated exploration of essential actor craft skills led by master teachers Richard Warner and Erica Arvold. This full day intensive class consists of a progressive through-line of vocal, physical and imaginative exercises focused on creative ways to explore, build character and make confident choices. A vigorous and playful journey, this intensive opens up a range of interpretation and discovery and is for the advanced youth actor. Limited to 12 students.
VO101 introduces prospective voice talent to the voice over marketplace and provides students the necessary tools to help them get started. During the last hour of the workshop, each student will learn by doing and observing – reading copy and receiving direction from Chris.
This two-day workshop combines perspective and feedback from a Los Angeles Agent and Atlanta Casting Director paired with in-depth training from two of Catapult Acting Studios’ coaches. This workshop was designed to help actors maximize their potential with regarding to training, marketing materials, and educating themselves on how to succeed in the upcoming pilot season. Actors will spend the first day preparing scenes with two of Catapult’s most sought-after coaches. Participants will execute their scenes in front of our industry pros on on the second day, followed by feedback and a Q&A.
The AUDITION GAUNTLET is a three day intensive focused on challenging the actor in ways he/she hasn’t been challenged before. The first two days will be 7 hours of focused script work, dedicated to improving audition prep, script analysis, and character breakdown. On the third day, each actor will rotate between three rooms here at Catapult, executing their scenes back to back to back for a Top Agent (in person), Top Casting Director (in person), and Top LA Pro (via Skype.) Most actors prep their scene, go in the room, and audition once. Actors never execute their scenes three times in a row… Until now.
Catapult Acting, LLC has a 24 hour grace period in which clients can cancel their registration and receive a full refund. After 24 hours, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to all registrations. If the client chooses to cancel 15-21 days before the event, a 50% refund will be issued. If the registration is cancelled within 14 days of the event, 100% of the payment will be forfeited. There are no refunds for missed or dropped classes.
