We are now offering 6-week summer classes to provide actors with a way to stay sharp and grow in between semesters! Consistency and repetition are two of the most important factors in success and these classes were designed to help actors progress in a fun and creative environment! Two of the classes offered, Intro to TV/Film and Advanced Scene Study are part of our core curriculum, whereas Summer On-Camera and Audition Technique are new additions for summer only!
*NOTE: If you would like to sign up after a class has started, please call the studio at 404-500-7897 to register over the phone.
Calling all littles! This weekly class is an energetic and creative environment that focuses on the beginning steps of on-camera acting. Five to six year old (& mature four year olds) students will explore imagination work, basic scene work, and playful story-telling. This course is a foundation for children to build confidence and embrace their unique personality as they begin their journey in the creative arts.
This introductory class serves as an exploratory experience for students interested in professional acting for TV and Film, with a focus on bettering the human being, not just the actor. Through a combination of acting exercises, on-camera play, improv games, and active listening, students have the opportunity to dive into TV/Film acting while developing valuable techniques and life skills. In this fun, creative environment, students will learn the importance of play, mindset, listening, empathy, connection and drive!

This IN-PERSON course teaches actors how to create distinct yet truthful characters and get comfortable working on-camera. Through games, exercises and basic scene work, actors will develop tools and techniques for diving into a variety of characters. This course is ideal for students who have previously taken “Intro to TV + Film” or “On-Camera Baseline” at Catapult!
Looking to hone your audition skills? Audition Technique prepares actors for the professional world by breaking down the audition process. The goal of this class is to dive further into discovering the individual needs of each actor to instill confidence in preparation and performance. The class will do this through various practice techniques including script analysis, improv, self-taping and watching scenes, and providing feedback. It is a class where actors can feel safe trying new techniques and taking risks!
Advanced Scene Study is designed for young actors on a professional path and was specifically created to help actors sharpen their scene study skills in a focused, intensive way. In this course, actors will explore and dissect scenes in every single class, working toward developing nuanced, compelling characters that serve the text. Actors will be challenged by the specific material chosen for each class, the instructor, and their fellow students, all while learning to create memorable performances in their TV/film auditions and on-set work.
