VIRTUAL Writing Lab
This VIRTUAL Writing Lab equips young actors and filmmakers with the basics of screenwriting, as well as gives them the opportunity to write a short film that will be shot at our Short Film Camp in June. Classes will be held VIRTUALLY once a week for six weeks via Zoom. All participants who write the films must also be enrolled in the two-week film camp as either an actor or producer. Students unable to attend the camp can also experience the Writing Lab as an observer. For more information contact info@catapultacting.com.

Ryan Darst
DIRECTORA graduate of the UCLA School of Film and Television, Ryan is a filmmaker with over 20 years experience writing, directing, producing, shooting and editing countless projects. Ryan has created several award-winning independent films, such as Long Story Short, Dreamworld and Wildlife, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Ryan is currently directing the new-dad comedy series Strollers and in development on his third feature film. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two year old daughter.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Catapult Acting, LLC has a 48 hour grace period in which clients can cancel their Short Film Camp registration and receive a full refund. If the client chooses to cancel 60 or more days before the event, a 50% refund will be issued. If the client chooses to cancel within 30-60 days prior to the event, 20% of the payment will be issued. No refunds will be given within 30 days of camp. This policy is in place due to the nature of the project and films being written specifically for the actors who were chosen to participate in the camp. Tardiness or leaving early from class will not be tolerated. Students may not send a friend or another student in their place.
