This immersive course continues to strengthen the foundation for the professional actor’s work in TV & Film. The intermediate course is designed for the actor who has experience on-camera, instilling deeper confidence in their preparation and scene work. The course will further expand and enrich the actor’s existing ability to create truthful, dynamic characters in their work. Through script analysis, improv, self-tapes, and constructive feedback, actors will further sharpen the skills needed for their work in TV & Film. This course will reinforce the actor’s trust in their instincts and ability by furthering connecting to their most authentic and confident self.

Class focal points:

Deepening the actor’s ability to live truthfully on camera
Increasing your confidence and strengthening your mindset
Nuanced character work and story telling
A solid understanding of your necessary acting resources
Dissecting the technical process in front of the camera

AGES: Adults 17+

COMMITMENT: 8 Weeks

CANCELLATION POLICY

Catapult Acting, LLC has a 24 hour grace period in which clients can cancel their registration and receive a full refund. After 24 hours, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to all registrations. If the client chooses to cancel 15-21 days before the event (classes, workshops & camps), a 50% refund will be issued. If the registration is cancelled within 14 days of the event, 100% of the payment will be forfeited. PLEASE NOTE: There are no refunds for missed, dropped or cancelled classes; should your schedule change once registered and within the cancellation policy.

Christen Sharice

Hailing from Chesapeake, VA, Christen has been working as an actress and lifestyle print model for the past several years across film, television, commercial and print. She graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Communication. After working in the corporate world for two years, she took a leap of faith and followed a creative path as an artist working mostly in front of the camera. Her life motto is, “Never get too comfortable as life throws many curveballs”.

For Christen, this art form is a beautiful canvas that gives her the freedom to paint as she sees fit and marvel in the sweet moments of truth and authenticity. She is very grateful to have gained fodder from industry vets including, Liesl Tommy, Susan Batson, Carl Ford, Sara Mornell, Richard Brooks, Victoria Rowell, Rona Dana and John Rosenfeld, to name a few. She loves co-creating with other artists and encouraging them to be their best self on any given day. She has a ‘personal knack for analyzing network and cable formulaic mediums’.

She is quite the avid Netflix fan who loves streaming her favorite series for the tenth time, brewing one too many espresso K-cups and fighting for the tiny unheard voices.
