Total Prep Youth ONLINE | ages: 10-17

Total Prep Youth ONLINE is an intensive providing actors personal, in-depth instruction and practical, professional advice on the preparation process for film and television. Students can participate from anywhere in the world. Master teachers Erica Arvold and Lauren Buglioli guide actors using the Arvold Warner Total Preparation Ten-Step Checklist for creating character for film & television. This multi-layered, progressive study is for all levels of actors, ages 10 – 17. The Arvold Warner approach is a synthesis of the major 20th century acting methods, with a focus on supporting and developing each individual’s personal practice while also expanding their craft toolkit. Grounded in the detailed study of a scene, actors explore efficient, effective techniques for creating action-based characters for the audition as well as the set.

Erica Arvold, owner and CEO of arvold., has spent 30 years as a casting director, educator, speaker, producer, writer, director and an advocate for artists. Erica has contributed to, participated in, or helmed the making of over 140 films, 85 television shows, and countless multimedia & commercial projects. Her company arvold. is headquartered in Charlottesville, VA and has offices in Atlanta, GA.

Lauren Buglioli

Instructor

Lauren Buglioli grew up in Los Angeles, CA and London, England, working from childhood in film, television, and theatre. Her training includes London’s Central School of Speech and Drama, LAMDA, NYU, Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, UCB, Arvold Warner Studio and Mornell Studios, amongst others.

She has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from NYU and over 15 years teaching experience, varying from NYU Tisch’s Teen Summer program, teaching drama and dance to children with Down Syndrome and working as a Head Pre-K Teacher at Avenues: The World School in Manhattan.
