TKE: TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, EXPOSURE. | Teen
There are three keys to achieving success as an actor:
- Consistent TRAINING
- Industry KNOWLEDGE
- Getting EXPOSURE
TKE will focus on three key attributes to achieving success as an actor: TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE and EXPOSURE. On day one, actors will train with Catapult founder + acting coach Erik Lingvall, sharpening scenes that they have prepared in advance. (Actors will choose their scene in advance – up to 2 pages. We are happy to provide resources if needed.) Erik will then break down how to maximize actors’ marketing materials, attain representation, and how to best approach the casting process. On the second day, actors will execute their scenes in front of two guest industry pros: an ATL agent (Announcing soon) and TJ Stein (LA manager).
PLEASE NOTE: Each participant will be assigned a time slot to read for the industry pros on Sunday between the hours of 11:30am and 3pm. Actors will be given their assigned time on Saturday.
