In TV/ Film acting, actors bring stories to life in front of the camera. This VIRTUAL course teaches actors how to create nuanced, honest characters and consistently deliver memorable and vulnerable performances in their on-camera work. Understated, truthful performances are born from learning what it feels like to live inside the mind and body of another. This course will focus on:
- Specificity, subtlety and stillness
- Sensory and imagination exercises
- Connecting with scene partner and the audience
- Adjusting performances for each specific shot
- TV/Film acting vs. Stage acting
- Script analysis and character development
- Building confidence by making bold choices

WHAT DOES “BASELINE” MEAN?
The BASELINE designation is reserved for the introductory level of each course that Catapult offers. Each BASELINE course is a prerequisite to its corresponding ADVANCED class and should be taken in order to progress in Catapult’s Youth Acting Track.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Catapult Acting, LLC has a 24 hour grace period in which clients can cancel their registration and receive a full refund. After 24 hours, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to all registrations. If the client chooses to cancel 15-21 days before the event (classes, workshops & camps), a 50% refund will be issued. If the registration is cancelled within 14 days of the event, 100% of the payment will be forfeited. PLEASE NOTE: There are no refunds for missed, dropped or cancelled classes; should your schedule change once registered and within the cancellation policy.
