Circuit Acting | Young Adult
There’s one common thread with the best actors: they truly immerse themselves by being 100% present. They are not acting, but living truthfully in the moment. Circuit Acting, the signature course created by Catapult founder Erik Lingvall, makes every attempt to remove “acting” from the acting room. Through innovative exercises and lectures, this course aims to take every actor from a place of acting to a place of “being.” This class challenges actors to use the circuitry in their brain to develop valuable, long-lasting habits while simultaneously breaking down mental and emotional barriers that prevent them from their most honest on-camera work. While this is an advanced class, it is advanced from the perspective of how much students will be pushed week-in and week-out. It’s not about one’s credits, experience, or previous training. It’s about one’s passion, work ethic and willingness to grow as an actor and as a person.
