CATAPULT REEL CAMP

With TWO FULL WEEKS of hands-on training presented by Atlanta’s top acting coaches, campers will leave Catapult with one scene for an industry-grade reel.  Original scenes will be written by two highly talented young writers who will create a powerful perspective true to our younger demographic. 

• A professionally edited, originally written scene
• Multiple days of high level on-camera training + experience
• Behind-the-scenes perspective of content creation
• Breakout performance labs (voice, movement, breath work, creating content, and much more)
• A lot of challenges…and a whole lot of fun!

NOTE:This camp is specifically designed for young actors who are currently auditioning or ready to start auditioning, and is not ideal for actors who don’t have any training or experience.

As an actor, acquiring quality footage is one of the more challenging aspects in the early stages of your acting career. Everyone always asks, “How do I get professional footage for my reel”? Well, here’s the Catch 22: You need footage to get jobs, but you need jobs to get footage.  Finding the right scene + scene partner can be a very challenging process.  Furthermore, receiving professional, industry footage for your reel can be just as daunting of a task.  The idea of getting this all in the same package is nearly impossible to find nowadays…until now.

Jillian Batherson

INSTRUCTOR

Jillian Batherson was raised in New Orleans, LA, graduated from The University of Southern California and was classically trained at The British American Drama Academy. She has studied on-camera technique with some of the top coaches in Los Angeles and across the country. Some of her credits include Disney’s Secrets of Sulphur Springs, FX’s American Horror Story and ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club. As a coach, Jillian endeavors to bring out the confidence, creativity and commitment in every student!

Arhley Brazoban

INSTRUCTOR

Having lived in various different states all over the country, experience is something Arhley has been able to accumulate plenty of. Originally an east-coaster born in New York and raised in New Jersey, the arts has always surrounded Arhley. It only took 3 years until he found the passion for acting and after his first role on stage he has studied and pursued the craft with great enthusiasm. Said passion has led him to study and graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and participate in projects from New York, to Los Angeles, to now here in Atlanta, Georgia. Since arriving in Georgia mid 2019, he has appeared in 5 different commercials for brands such as Geico, Popeyes, and Hidden Valley Ranch.. With each experience there is something to grow from, and Arhley can’t wait to pass along that growth to others who have the same passion we have here at Catapult. And if you need that passion passed along in Spanish, great news! He is fluent in Spanish!
