Will Buie Jr.

Star of Disney’s Bunk’d

Will Buie Jr. is an American child actor, a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to being cast on “BUNK’D,” Buie guest starred on “Modern Family” and had a recurring role as Brad Jr./Ella on “Daytime Divas.” He appears in the Netflix film “In the Tall Grass,” based on the short story by Stephen King and Joe King. Buie loves learning about cars and is a whiz with almost all makes and models. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, playing Xbox, driving his Traxxas Rustler remote truck, biking and playing soccer. Buie plays energetic and adventurous Finn Sawyer, in Disney Channel’s comedy series “BUNK’D.” A cousin of camp director Lou, Finn’s fearless disposition often gets him into trouble, but he loves every minute of being at Camp Kikiwaka.

Scarlett Estevez

Star of Disney’s Bunk’d

Scarlett Estevez was born in Los Angeles, California, and from a young age she displayed a knack for the performing arts. Best known for her role in the two “Daddy’s Home” films (starring opposite Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg), Estevez previously played the role of Trixie on the Fox series Lucifer, which was renewed for a fourth season on Netflix. She voices the character of Esme Louise on the Amazon animated series “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” and most recently voiced the role of Izzy in “The Grinch” animated feature.  Estevez booked her first national commercial at age three and has since appeared in over twenty-five national commercials. Her first movie role was a short film for the Make a Film Foundation, titled “The Magic Bracelet.” The cast included James Van Der Beek, Hailee Steinfeld, Jackson Rathbone, J.K. Simmons and Bailee Madison. Following that, her first full-length feature film was the 2013 drama “And Then There Was You,” starring Garcelle Beauvais. In 2015, Estevez starred in the hit comedy feature “Daddy’s Home,” and reprised her role in the 2017 sequel.

When not on set, 11-year-old Estevez enjoys staying active, whether it’s gymnastics, hiking, or running around with her siblings and cousins. She is a pescetarian and resides with her family in Los Angeles. She will be playing Gwen Floes on the upcoming season of Bunk’d.

A. Laura James

Guest Director

Laura trained as an actor. She spent years honing her skills as a storyteller by performing in award winning theater productions and finding her way to improv and sketch comedy eventually gravitating toward directing. Laura broke into television as an Acting/Dialogue Coach, where she used that opportunity as her film school and springboard to open the doors to directing episodes. She got her first shot on the hit Disney Channel show, “Austin & Ally” where she directed multiple episodes. She has also worked as a director/dialogue coach on shows such as “Bunk’d”, “Jessie” and “Bizaardvark”. In addition to directing television she has also directed music videos, comedy sketches, proof of concept trailers, commercials, digital shorts series and short films. She is best known for crafting genuine and grounded performances. Laura also teaches directing at USC School of Cinematic Arts and AFI.

 

ERIK LINGVALL

Backstage.com contributor and winner of the Readers’ Choice for Atlanta’s Favorite Acting Coach in Backstage Magazine, Erik Lingvall brings with him over 15 years of experience guiding and training talent, throughout the country. As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for tv/film actors in the Southeast. Originally from California, Erik currently resides in Atlanta, with his wife Jennifer and baby girl Venice. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding his them to enjoy the process as much as the product at the end. JULIA JONES

Acting Coach of Navia Robinson of Disney’s Raven’s Home

Julia Jones is a professional actor, coach, and improvisor in Atlanta GA. Her clients at Catapult Acting can be seen on Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, HBO, and many more. Her latest projects include a National Cartoon Network Commercial, a parody short for Funny or Die, and a pilot shot in NYC with Tony Award Winning Actor Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts). She is a professional improvisor & instructor at The Village Theatre (named Best Comedy Club – Atlanta Magazine & Best Improv Comedy – Creative Loafing).
