Mastering the Cold Read | Ages 17+
Most actors would love to have an entire week to prepare for an audition. But what happens when you are given only TWENTY MINUTES? Sometimes casting will give an actor little or no time to work on their audition. Being comfortable, confident, and creative with a cold read is an important skill set. Shane Brady has created a template that he applies to his own auditions and coaching sessions, which helped him, and twenty-two of his actors, book work in Los Angeles in 2019. This workshop will provide actors with all the necessary tools and tricks for mastering cold reads.

Shane Brady
InstructorShane Brady, an FSU Theatre grad, has performed as lead roles in 9 theatrical productions in London and Chicago. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he teaches at John D’Aquino’s Young Actors Workshops. His TV credits include Ballers (HBO), Liza on Demand (Youtube Premium), and shows on ABC, NBC, CBS and Disney XD. Shane’s film credits include Doctor Sleep (Warner Bros) and The Endless (Netflix). CANCELLATION POLICY
Catapult Acting, LLC has a 24 hour grace period in which clients can cancel their registration and receive a full refund. After 24 hours, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to all registrations. If the client chooses to cancel 15-21 days before the event, a 50% refund will be issued. If the registration is cancelled within 14 days of the event, 100% of the payment will be forfeited. There are no refunds for missed or dropped classes.
