Join Catapult Acting founder Erik Lingvall, LA casting directors Jami Rudofsky (Gilmore Girls) and Christy Faison (The Newsroom) and manager Shepard Smith as they discuss the reopening of the film industry in Los Angeles and Atlanta! This online forum, held via ZOOM, will be an opportunity to hear about how casting is adapting to the current climate and what actors can do to take advantage of these new virtual opportunities.

Jami RudofskyLA casting director
Jami Rudofsky has been casting television, film and theatre in Los Angeles for over 20 years. Casting Credits include the original Gilmore Girls/CW and Gilmore Girls A Year In The Life/NETFLIX, Grown Ups 2, Masters of Sex/SHOWTIME, EMMY nominated Conversations in LA/AMAZON, and Stargate Origins/MGM. Jami has been the Resident Casting Director and Artistic Associate at the award winning Celebration Theatre for 13 years. Jami’s background in casting, teaching, and in acting gives her a great understanding of the plight of the working actor. She approaches her work with actors from a place of deep respect and spirited collaboration.
Christy FaisonLA casting director
Christy began her casting career at FOX over 20 years ago and since then she has cast numerous half hour and drama pilots, series & movies including Aaron Sorkin’s, “The Newsroom,” Terrence Malick’s “Knight of Cups” and “Seal Team” currently airing on CBS.
SHEPARD SMITHTALENT MANAGER
Shepard started his career in the mailroom of ICM before segueing into talent management. With over fifteen years of experience, Shepard has placed numerous clients onto major television and film projects including Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Walking Dead.
