Episodic Prep | Adult

Episodic Season is when all of the shows are cast and pilots are picked up. Production is now looking to fill the guest-star and co-star roles. Many actors believe this time of the year is JUST AS or even more important than pilot season! This workshop was designed to help actors maximize their potential with regarding to training, marketing materials, educating themselves with the upcoming episodic season, and how to succeed.

Catapult Acting Studios is excited to welcome two of the most sought-after industry professionals – DDO Talent Agent Alexa Nieblas and arvold CSA Casting Associate Meghan Apostoles – for our two-day Episodic Prep workshop. This workshop will include scene preparation and on-camera work with two of Atlanta’s most sought-after coaches, Erik Lingvall & Joe Massingill. Participants will execute scenes with feedback and participate in a Q&A with the industry pros.

Meghan Apostoles is a CSA Casting Associate at arvold. In addition to her work casting film, television and commercial projects, she acts as production manager on arvold. productions, assists with education events and helms arvold.’s Atlanta office. She began as an extras casting assistant on Meg Ryan’s Ithaca and has since worked on AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies, Jeff Nichols’s Loving, and many other features, commercials and short form multimedia projects. She loves educating young actors and has taught at the Virgina Repertory Theatre’s TRAIN Pre-Professional Actor Training program and DMR Adventures.

Alexa Nieblas

DDO Artists Agency

Alexa is a talent agent at DDO Talent Agency. She was born and raised in LA and started as a child actor herself. She quickly fell in love with theatre, and went on to earn her degree in theatre from California State University Fullerton. In college, Alexa performed at The Disneyland Resort before transitioning into casting. She worked in casting for various live shows and parades for Disney Resorts around the world. Alexa later joined the DDO team, where she currently works to develop new talent to help them achieve their dreams.

Backstage.com contributor and winner of the 2015 Readers’ Choice for Atlanta’s Favorite Acting Coach, Erik brings with him over 15 years of experience guiding and training talent, throughout the country. As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for TV/film actors in the Southeast. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding them to enjoy the process as much as the end product.

JOE MASSINGILL

INSTRUCTOR

Joe is from Newnan, Georgia. In 2008, he graduated from Valdosta State University with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts Performance, and he has worked as an actor, improviser, voice-over performer, and writer. Joe trained at the Aquila Morong Studio for Actors, specializing in the Stella Adler and Sanford Meisner acting techniques, and has also been a teacher and coach since 2016. Catch Joe on projects such as Trouble with the Curve, The Resident, Halt and Catch Fire, Nashville, NCIS: New Orleans, and Hart of Dixie.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Catapult Acting, LLC has a 24 hour grace period in which clients can cancel their registration and receive a full refund. After 24 hours, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to all registrations. If the client chooses to cancel 15-21 days before the event (classes, workshops & camps), a 50% refund will be issued. If the registration is cancelled within 14 days of the event, 100% of the payment will be forfeited.
