COMMERCIAL WORKSHOP

The Commercial Workshop was designed to allow the actor to work with a top commercial Casting Director and working commercial actor in an intimate setting. Workshop participants will learn the ins and outs of commercial auditioning and acting, and how the wild world of commercials specifically differs from TV/Film. This experience will focus on understanding the business of commercials, timing and energy of commercial acting, learning how you can incorporate improv into your commercial auditions, and much more.

Arhley Brazoban has been a working commercial actor for years and has been featured in multiple ads (Hidden Valley Ranch, Popeyes). He will be working with participants for the first two hours of the workshop, walking through mock commercial scripts with individual students. Arhley will review different methods of how to approach your audition with strong choices, to make your audition as fun and truthful to you as possible.

During the second half of the workshop, actors will perform their commercial script in person for a commercial casting director. The pro will provide feedback and direction on how to improve your audition from the perspective of what it takes to book the job.

Arhley Brazoban

Instructor

Born from two Dominican immigrant parents and having lived in various different states all over the country, experience is something Arhley has been able to accumulate plenty of. Originally an east-coaster born in New York and raised in New Jersey, the arts have always surrounded Arhley. It only took 3 years until he found the passion for acting and after his first role on stage he has studied and pursued the craft with great enthusiasm. Said passion has led him to study and graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and participate in projects from New York, to Los Angeles, to now here in Atlanta, Georgia. Since arriving in Georgia mid 2019, he has appeared in several different commercials for brands such as Geico, Popeyes, Hidden Valley Ranch and has participated in different film projects and network television shows. With each experience there is something to grow from, and Arhley can’t wait to pass along that growth to others who have the same passion we have here at Catapult. And if you need that passion passed along in Spanish, great news! He is fluent in Spanish!
