WHAT IS CAMP CATAPULT?
Camp Catapult is Catapult Acting’s signature event that combines rigorous intensive scene study instructed by award-winning coaches with first-person industry perspective. This 5 day intensive covers every aspect of the audition process. In addition to being instructed by our wonderful, challenging coaches; actors will receive instruction from a different industry pro each day ranging from Agents to Managers to Casting Directors to Directors and more.
NOTE: This is an audition/referral/approval camp. This camp is not for the hobbyist. Experience is not required, but rather a willingness to challenge one’s self.

DAY 1: LYNDIE GREENWOOD

Canadian born Greenwood can be seen in FLINT, opposite Queen Latifah, Betsy Brandt, and Marin Ireland. Lyndie Greenwood is a classically trained actress who started her career as SONYA on Nikita for the CW opposite Maggie Q and Shane West. She then went on to book SLEEPY HOLLOW for FOX in which she played the role of JENNY MILLS. She shot THE WORLD WITHOUT YOU opposite Radha Mitchell, PJ Byrne and Annick Marks and is also recurring on Shawn Ryan’s S.W.A.T for CBS.

As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for TV/film actors in the Southeast. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding them to enjoy the process as much as the end product.

about THE TALENT AGENT
Render is the most recent addition to PLAY’s Atlanta branch. The Georgia native is a graduate of the University of Louisville in Kentucky. After graduation he worked in legal with a law office and also briefly in film distribution. He quickly switched to entertainment management, where he then worked on both the literary and talent side of representation, with managers at Thruline Entertainment and Beverly Strong at Strong Management in Los Angeles. Now with Atlanta currently being one of the main production centers of the film industry, his dedication and experience from the LA market is helping build the newest branch of Play in Atlanta, with Play Partner Trina Allen-Abt.

about THE CASTING ASSOCIATE
Meghan Apostoles is a casting associate at arvold. In addition to her work casting film, television and commercial projects, she acts as production manager on arvold. productions, assists with education events and helms arvold.’s Atlanta office. She began as an extras casting assistant on Meg Ryan’s Ithaca and has since worked on AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies, Jeff Nichols’s Loving, and many other features, commercials and short form multimedia projects. She loves educating young actors and has taught at the Virgina Repertory Theatre’s TRAIN Pre-Professional Actor Training program and DMR Adventures.



DAY 5: CAROLINE SLAUGHTER
THE CALLBACK– Execute your scene in front of Top Director like a real callback
about THE DIRECTOR
Caroline is a multi-hyphenate: Writer, Director and Voiceover. She produced and acted in New York and London theater collaborating with writers like Beau Willimon (House of Cards), Elizabeth Meriwether (New Girl) and Annie Baker (The Flick, Pulitzer Prize Winner). Caroline then went on to write and perform with the Upright Citizens Brigade, which led to developing a pilot with FX Networks in Los Angeles. She is currently focused on entertainment development in Georgia and recently wrapped LAMB, a film about the female assistants who led the victims up to Harvey Weinstein’s hotel room, which her producing team will use as a vehicle to support the #MeToo and #TimesUp movement.

JULIA JONES
LEAD INSTRUCTORJulia Jones is a professional actor, coach, and improvisor in Atlanta GA. Her clients at Catapult Acting can be seen on Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, HBO, and many more. Her latest projects include a National Cartoon Network Commercial, a parody short for Funny or Die, and a pilot shot in NYC with Tony Award Winning Actor Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts). She is a professional improvisor & instructor at The Village Theatre (named Best Comedy Club – Atlanta Magazine & Best Improv Comedy – Creative Loafing).



ATKINS ESTIMOND
CO-INSTRUCTORAtkins Estimond was born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, and discovered his love for acting in theatre. After graduating high school, he transitioned to tv/film and briefly studied at the University of North Georgia as part of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance before acting full time here in Atlanta. Atkins has found great success in his career, and can be seen on shows such as FOX’s The Resident, AMC’s Lodge 49, Hap and Leonard, Love Is and more. He can also be seen in films including SuperFly and An Actor Prepares. Atkins is passionate about improv and sketch comedy, and can be seen in shows at Village Theatre and Dad’s Garage.
