Audition Taping
The majority of auditions for Atlanta actors are now self tapes. With Casting Directors having to compare hundreds of auditions every day, video and sound quality has never been more important. Catapult’s Audition Taping caters to specific audition needs, offering different color backgrounds in one of its sound-insulated studios, experienced male or female readers, coaching or no coaching, all with the intention of helping clients achieve the highest quality audition tape possible.
Private Coaching
One-on-one private coaching is personalized training, individually designed to help actors accelerate their growth. From audition preparation to script analysis, the focus of each session is structured to fulfill the actor’s current needs. Camps
Camp Catapult is Catapult Acting’s signature event that combines rigorous intensive scene study instructed by award-winning coaches with first-person industry perspective. This 5 day intensive covers every aspect of the audition process. In addition to being instructed by our wonderful, challenging coaches; actors will receive instruction from a different industry pro each day ranging from Agents to Managers to Casting Directors to Directors and more.
Workshops
Workshops are typically one or two day intensives, crafted to challenge actors of all ages in a collaborative, focused environment through a variety of training techniques. Catapult has brought in master guest instructors from across the country to teach audition technique, movement exercise, on-camera training, listening intensive work, script analysis, Shakespeare, Disney comedy, self exploration, and everything in between. The goal of any given workshop is to provide a challenging opportunity for actors and individuals alike to leave the studio a more confident, prepared, trained, educated person than they came in.
Headshots
For all intents and purposes, an actor’s headshot is the first audition. An actor’s success is dependent on having photos that not only showcase personality, but also the wide array of characters an actor can embody. During each session, different than any other headshot service, actors work with a Catapult coach and professional photographer who will guide them into the depth of the character that makes a picture interesting.
industry consultations
Being a successful actor not only requires consistent training, but also a comprehensive understanding of the entertainment industry from a business and marketing perspective. Industry Consultations educate actors about the business of entertainment and provide them with the tools to navigate the industry. These sessions help actors develop a focused plan to prepare for the next steps in their career. Industry guides maximize an actor’s potential and positioning by assembling professional-quality marketing materials, establishing and/or optimizing online actor profiles, and creating relationships with industry professionals across the country.
Virtual
Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts and Facetime allow for clients and coaches to connect seamlessly outside of the physical studio location. It accommodates actors with busy schedules, those who live outside of Atlanta, or simply are unable to get to Catapult for any reason. Catapult’s Virtual services include virtual classes, workshops, private coaching, industry consultations, audition preparation and more.
